Keki has had a passion for music every since she could remember. As a girl in Mobile, Alabama, she performed in church services, during summer programs and at her performing arts school. She was formally trained in several  types of dance, piano, theater and art and has the ability to not only write and produce a song but conceptualize and direct her own music video. She graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in telecommunications and film with a minor in graphic design. All of her album art was designed by her to reflect the music that highlights her lived experiences, perspective, divine femininity and historical research. She creatively paints a picture of female empowerment, sexuality, love, friendship, poverty, social justice, the prison industrial complex, healthcare and racism over a rhythmic deep flow.
